Bought a five color paint set and canvas from family dollar to fukc around with since all my painting stuff is in storage in the cities. I haven't done anything to the new canvas yet, but I messed around with an old one that I never liked....still don't really care for it but it was fun to paint again.

I don't know about being the Lee Kouba of our generation, but he was a true character....and the Hautman brothers ruined the genre of wildlife art with their over-realism, bland as dirt personalities, and instant fame from the movie 'Fargo,' with the term "fame" being used very loosely since all things are relative.


I like the idea about h2ofwlr but already started with the pheasants.....so that might have to be my next one. It's been way too long since I fantasized about putting my fingers through that Santa Claus beard of his while painting him......
