Very!

I talked to my farmer friend in SE ND. He said it was dry, not terrible but that was last month. I think they had very little snow over the winter. It's dry overall over the upper-mid west.

You know it!

They were low in SE which was surprising since East central MN got five inches of rain the week leading up to it.

We're due for a good drought...long overdue actually.....

The different margin away from the average precipitation.

And that's the "wettest" part of the state.

Nice! Even a g@y azz fly fisherman like me killed a few over the weekend. They really do make phenomenal table fare.

^^^Niiiice! Fly fishing was good this year. A few of the guys in our group fly fish and they did really well. Saturday afternoon/evening flies were working a lot better than everything else. Early spring, low warm water = big bug hatches. That was by far the best hatch I've ever seen on an opening weekend.

The caddis hatch was off the charts and the BBC (big buttery caddis-eaters) were coming out of their hidey holes to eat.
