Depends if I drive out to WY to scout or not. Do not really care if I make it teal hunting but I’ll go if I don’t have any other sh!t going on.

I'd say I'll probably go try it. If I don't have much else going on work gets in the way etc. Not something I'm super pumped about by any means...but I'd go a morning if it works out

Yep I’ll be out. Most of the spots I had in mind that have been good for teal in the past are probably mud flats right now. Talked to a guy who wild rices every year who was out scouting conditions for the season and he said some of the big rice sloughs are giant mud flats or if there is water it’s too skinny to float a canoe. Some large public areas that support a lot of hunters will be unhubtable unless we get some good rains. Conditions could really concentrate the hunters in some areas this season.

If I could do a lazy hunt I might, but the way I waterfowl hunt is simply too much effort for a few teal, and honestly probably too much effort during the regular season even. I’m really not super into it. I could actually see them closing it like they did with the august goose
