There's 330,000,000 people in this country and what.....seven or eight billion on the planet now? Most who have the modern capability of recording everything they could possibly see whenever it is they see it.

There are "anomalies" that are happening constantly as a result. In the old days the chances of a person being present to witness these same anomalies was a lot more rare....and if there were humans there to see it....they probably were too busy just trying to live to ever think about writing it down....

I.E. this type of shit isn't anything new or noteworthy....it just seems that way.

Fifty years ago....a hundred years ago for sure.....and we all would've walked out our front doors without any knowledge of the Yellowstone flooding, and such an event would've never crossed our consciousness to where it was something we would ever become aware of.....and our world would be as untouched as it is from such an event.....

The flooding of the Yellowstone really only occurs in our mind. Unless I go see it with my own eyes than it might as well never have happened.

....and this is why people were better off living their lives before us.

Humans have been on this earth for a tiny amount of time relative to the existence of earth and even smaller amount of time that we have record of. People seem to forget that when discussing climate change. Comparing a few hundred years or even a few thousand years of data is pretty much worthless.

It was once a jungle here, an ocean and had ice bergs that covered all our land, at one point in time. All before man. Those dinosaurs must have had a hell of a carbon foot print…

I'm kind of surprised how stubborn the drought is in the N 1/4 of MN after so many reports of a lot of snow up there.

Yellowstone flood happened as lots of snow from winter yet, then a recent snow storm - then it rained AND warmed up = lots of snow melt fast.

You realize the entire area around Mille Lacs is flooding....lakes higher than ever?

Do you know what the greatest concern is right now for most areas of the state?

Flooding and storms.....all it does up here is rain, flood, and storm.....shit is never ending this year.

You should get out of your basement for a bit h2ofwlr....better yet....take a drive up to Lake of the Woods, then to Voyageurs NP, then down to Mille Lacs, and swing over to Little Falls......

Good God.....how fukcing retarded can these meteorologists/climatologists be?

Drought....Yup....fukcing Drought.....that's the "Big Concern." All because a couple storm drain runoff ponds have dropped the normal amount they should drop going into July down in the cities.

So you're predicting water levels to be....uh....approaching "normal?"

How abnormal! Super Serial Guys! Water levels are going to recede to levels that are completely normal....better brace yourselves for such a catastrophic event!

^^^^ You just can not argue with stupid without bringing yourself down to your level. And why I limit being here. Bye!

Oh BTW East Union in 1 small isolated spot got 5" yesterday. 5 miles away like Jordan and Chaska got less than 1"
I got .78" - the most rain at 1 time in over 2 months. I'm still at least 4" short for May/June
