hey man,you know, when it's 4th and 8, season on the line, I like to "put a bow on it" with a completion, you know? Go out on a "make". That's positive stats right there....

The Kirk fans like me are having a tough time after that throw on 4th and 8.

Honestly. We turned on 2nd half. First game I willingly turned on since George Floyd. And was actually pretty impressed with cousins composure, accuracy etc in the first part of the half.

Then watching that last pass...lmfao.

It'd be interesting to see where other receivers were in their routes etc on that play because that seemed like the most staged thing that could have happened.

Either staged or cousins is a complete limp dick loser. You're throwing lazers and making good plays prior to that and with the game...you're whole season on the line...thats the decision you make?

,Like I said I'd have to see the other routes receiver positions etc. They didn't replay any of that. Maybe it genuinely was the only open guy.

But that was absolutely shocking after how he had performed up to that point

If it came down to that throw or him trying to run it and make a play...sure didn't seem like there were a lot of defenders out in front of him from memory.

It's ok though he got his millions and playoff bonus

It was a dumb route to have Hockenson run. Why are you having a guy only go 3 yards down the field?

Do they keep stats of the QB with the most 4th down completions that do not get the 1st down? I’d have to imagine cousins would be leading that stat.

Typical end to a Viking season. I’m glad I don’t let myself get invested in them anymore and don’t really care.

Kirk Cousins 4th Down QBR: 81.4
Josh Allen 4th Down QBR: 42.4

Kirk is not the problem with this team. The defense is seriously bad. They let Daniel Jones run for 78 yards yesterday.

The defense was awful. I’m not blaming it on Kirk but he had his chance to be a hero again and failed.

He didn’t have time. Maybe he could have hung in there and hit Osborn, but he might have gotten sacked too. Our O-Line has also been pretty bad, but that’s been an issue for years. Thank you Rick Speilman. In the end, throwing up a jump-ball to a double-covered JJ would have been the better decision.

This vid shows the “All-22” view of the last play.

I dunno imo...I think he has room to run for the first down there. I know Kirk ain't a scrambler...but think a lot of younger qbs would have scrambled there. He had some lanes with most defenders way down the field. Hockenson would have had to block his lone defender and ya Kirk would have had to fight through a few one arm grab attempts at the line. Many qbs could make that clutch scramble
