Is anyone else already reminiscent of how wonderful last summer was? Blue sunny skies, no rain, and hardly a mosquito.

On Tuesday the mosquito hatch took place.....Monday? Hardly a one. Tuesday? They'd almost carry you away walking from the front door to the car.

But hey, at least the water levels are at abnormal all-time highs in the twin cities wetlands (cesspools?) that h2ofwlr has his HH/WDB's on......making life good for one guy in this hell hole of a state otherwise known as,

Haven't noticed one at home at all and I typically sit outside every night til 10 drinking smoking cigars but went to a buddies in Zimmerman yesterday and they got pretty bad at sunset. Today was the first day running with the dog noticed them in the woods we run through. I'm sure they'll get worse over this hot stretch

the dam things are everywhere up here this year. cant even sit in the yard without needing bug spray and havent had any rain since the snow melted. if we dont get rain soon its going to be a bad year for fires. the beetle kill up here is ridiculous

Mosquitos are bad. As much as I hate doing it, I might have the yard sprayed this year. Makes a huge difference and totally worth it on the years they are bad.
How about the tree pollen this year. We’ve had several days it looks like it’s snowing out. Stuff is getting in and on everything.
