Ya it can work unless like you said someone jumps into your box and pulls a big winner ..there an unspoken etiquette that if you see someone playing a low box you don't jump into it in the middle of their playing. We've had that happen before where say two buddies are into it $100 each...in a low box trying to get the remaining $500 winner...then some phuk face comes up puts $20 into the box you are playing and pulls the $500. Such a kick in the balls lol

Seen’t that exact thing play out in a bar in Mentor, MN except my buddies were way more into the box by the time someone else pulled a $500 hahahahaahahaha. My buddies got lucky and pulled out the other $500, ended up losing $10 still.
