Fought a sea lion for a tuna and the sea lion won. Had unreal fishing. Back to reality and winter tomorrow.

Another season has come and gone! With the warm fall seemed like it flew by. October overall was decent for ducks, geese were tough due to mainly them feeding in refuge fields most of October. November was great once we had some weather but congregated birds with lots of small water freezing up. Ended with a mallard field hunt last night and was a great end to the season! Will be no shortage of watching mallards decoy during late season goose hunting. Hopefully we get some snow to make the geese less hateful. Have a few trips planned yet so hopefully those go good.

Pretty sure this is the same one yet...body looks a lot smaller but think it's the angle. He's been through 2 more time, Fri and Sunday.

It's about time to wrap up bow hunting on the property and focus on getting the dog out for pheasants. Any recommendations on accommodations out in laq qui parle area Madison/Appleton/etc? Seems everywhere you look now it's bed bugs galore would like to avoid that if possible lol. I don't need anything fancy just trying to do a few overnights vs day trips with 6 hrs driving. Would love to take like a trip per week in Dec

No good recommendations but I can tell u co(ks are bountiful this year. I had a limit by 11:30 last Sunday.

The one hotel in Ortonville doesn’t look too terrible tho on the outside. Morris is a little bigger and probably has a nicer enough hotel. Canby might have an OK one too.

Friends stayed at a motel in Montevideo, can't recall name, said it was dog friendly.

Glad u finally got on som co(k! If I was a cyber scouter I’d try to figure out where that WMA is.

I got a late start Sunday and got out around noon. Hunted until LST, ended up with two birds. Could have had three but I whiffed on an east double. Gay
