Frontline Worker Pay

Thu Oct 06, 2022 9:51 pm

I got approved

Whole thing drives me crazy honestly. 9.25 bil surplus and they give 5% back to 20% of taxpayers.

I'm thinking of donating it but don't want it to go somewhere where it pays executive pay, overhead, etc which is all just slush in non profits

I was thinking possibly one of those adopt a family at Christmas time things. Everything goes directly to them...no middle man etc. No executives getting paid.

Anyone ever looked into these things, you just go into a local church or something? Any input?

Do you belong to a church.?
We have a list of families in need at our parish that have been vetted by our priest.

Nah I don't belong to a church, grew up Catholic we used to go every Sunday. When I was around 20 the priest gave his entire sermon about how people weren't giving enough money to the church and that pretty much sealed the deal for me to stop going to church

We’re gonna over tax all of you then pick which group of people we are going to send the surplus money to. Then we are going to pat ourselves on the back and pretend we are good guys and hopefully it buys a few votes next month. We are politicians.

Politicians suck!

I was also approved. I will most likely buy some more shotgun shells, can never have too many. It just like the school loan deal it all comes down to getting votes come November! Both sides play the game.

Do NOT donate it. JFC- free money gave us the effing inflation issue. Take those funds and put it towards some I-bonds and make the G'vment pay you the interest on the money they borrowed to give you the money. MLDS arbitrage.
