I've been looking at EE...double your money guaranteed in 20 yrs. You think the I's better? I understand the I's paying out huge now due to being inflation adjusted. But was looking at putting the max into EE series over the next 10 years just to have a retirement "safety net" since I have more "risky" investments traded by myself

Whats the no penalty redemption hold period on I- like 3 years. So if your average yield nets at 6 over the 36 month average you can take your cash back out.

Fed may have to back off their next raise projection. Strong $, blah, blah, blah. I can't say the I is better than the EE, but I am personally a fan of being able to access the cash.
