Election

Well they get paid 3 months out of the year they don’t work. Most don’t really work the other 9 months. They already don’t give a sh!t.

There are no McDonald’s employees clearing 6 figures, but there are teachers in some districts.

Most teachers do pretty well.....in MN. I'm not sure what the situation is up in Alaska....I'm guessing their not nearly as fukcing insane as the teachers are here, and probably not nearly as well compensated since the MN teachers union is the most powerful union in the state.....and now even more powerful since Walz got re-elected. Make sure you factor in the insanely good benefits and pension teachers get.....then compare their compensation to someone at McDonald's.....pretty giant disparity.

As far as bonding bills go......why in the fukc do they need new buildings of any kind? Again, lower enrollment means there's plenty of room for the kids now. Do you know that in the new Farmington high school they had $1500 trash cans. One trash can out of I'm assuming at least a hundred....a grand and a half apiece.....plastic or rubber molded whatever you want to call it.....same old shit.....plastic trash can.....they had Farmington's mascot/logo color molded into each trash can, but nonetheless....they serve the same exact utilitarian purpose as any $10 large plastic trash can from Walmart does. The $1500 trash can at the new high school doesn't hold trash any differently than the Walmart $10 variety. Think of how many homeowners paid $1500 in property taxes that year....hard earned take home after tax income they forked over......to pay for one fukcing trash can in the high school.

Fukc every last one of these motherfukcing socialist leeches. Don't ever give them another fukcing dime. I guaranteed you that if you took the time to go through your local schools budgets and dig in....ask, "why does this cost this....where, what, who is it going to?" you'll find enough putrid pork being wasted on bullshit to make you instantly want to rip some of these fukcs heads off.

Again, in MN at least....we're looking at declining enrollment....everywhere. The few places where there's growth? Give it twenty years......no place.....not your Woodburys, Lakevilles, Maple Grove, Otsego.....where-the-fukc-ever.....there isn't long term growth. In twenty years everywhere will have defining enrollment if it isn't already happening.

Why in the fukc do they need more money for teachers, buildings, anything when there is less and less need for the supposed services they're providing?

Modern day schooling = a kid playing on a fukcing tablet learning about gay shit and why they should question what pronouns they want to use

I dunno teachers work 9 months of the year, crazy retirement package that supports them for 12 months a year in retirement vs the 9 they work, and it's like any other profession where if you are top performers they can make 100k a year in non out state areas. I wouldn't say the pay is crazy but certainly feel they have nothing to complain about.

And if they want to complain no one forced them to be a teacher. That's my #1 gripe with teachers wanting more pay.

Money isn't everything but I wanted to work for the DNR...gave a lot of thought to the career aspects, specialization of the degrees and the pay, and decided right before night of orientation at the UofM college of natural resources I wasn't gonna do that shiz.

Teachers willing made the choice. And I guess you can say, well we need teachers, who's going to teach the kids etc.

In this day and age with technology not so sure teachers provide much benefit and are needed...I'd honestly prefer they don't teach my potential future kids or have any impact on them whatsoever. I'd probably try to home school them. I get that's not possible for a lot of people but with technology it just may be
