Guess I should have spelt it out just use to saying it up here. Danger of life or property (DLP) allows people to legally shoot an animal that is putting their life or property in danger. If it happens you have to fill out some paper work and then give the hide skull and meat to fish and game.

How long till other states follow?

When will this affect non res fishing licenses? I’ll guess by 2035

South Dakota needed to do something, but unlimited licenses on private land is going to drive the outfitter business even more and probably lock more locals out of access.
