Hunting 2023

Guts were open and it smelled rank as hell. Was in the sun so it probably warmed for a day or two minimum. I didn’t even try to salvage any meat.

I was gonna leave it all in the woods but a buddy convinced me to take the rack out.

The coyotes are gonna go into winter fat. Maybe it will save the life of a fawn or two.

4/9 filled this morning...not me personally I probably wouldn't have shot any of those. Nice deer but no monsters...if they would have lived another year or two oh man.

They a lot choosier than what they used to shoot at least lol

They definitely prowling though I saw 4 small ones 9:15-11 then a nicer one at 11:15. 30 min later heard some sparring. Went back to eat and came back to go out again another sm

Not a bad haul for opening day. Def some future champions in here. Some guys just really don’t wanna shoot a doe.

I get it tho, Here my dumbazz is sitting deerless cause I didn’t wanna shoot a doe with two fawns this morning.

Tomorrow morning I may not feel so generous.
