The methodology NOAA has been using isn't any different than the MN DNR's. Groupthink runs rampant amongst these dorks. They all do the same shit.....monkey see monkey do.

I tip my cap to NOAA for having the balls to do what real scientists do......

......always assume your shit is wrong and challenge/test it every way conceivably possible. Real scientists who actually follow scientific method try to prove themselves wrong.....not talk themselves into why they might be right.

I'm stunned....shocked....that a department of esteemed scientists at the federal level actually had the guts to look at what they were doing critically to where they figured out how horrendously off they were.....very, very impressed with NOAA today....and that's hard to do since they are one of the few entities that I typically have respect for their work as it was.....
