Teal Season UPDATE ! ! !

Front page story on this week's Outdoor News:
USFWS will likely offer it and MN DNR will likely not participate.
Steve Cordts is quoted as saying he "has not had a single call from anyone wanting a teal season"
I'd suggest we call him and let him know there are a few people in favor of it.
I'm really disappointed the Board of MWA has taken an anti-teal season stance. If you are a member, write them. If you are not a member, send em $35 and tell em to start representing your interests in shooting ducks! They've done a pretty good job of supporting MN's "catching up" to Federal Frameworks... I was hoping they'd be smart about the teal season.

Only in Minnesota would hunters actually voice their displeasure over getting to hunt more days.

I would rather not have the teal season and have an extra week or two added to the MN regular season. Call Steve and the USFW people and lets get that going instead OK?
