'Lil salmo hornet.

The set up the guy hooked me up with (no pun intended) at the bait shop was different to say the least. It consists of a long lead jig head that's painted and has a small hook hanging from a chain at the bottom of it, which I was advised to tip with what he called "spikes." Spikes are some type of larvae, much tougher and "rubbier" than the typical phaggot-maggot I've used.

I tried it, got a few light bites, and then got impatient. The fish seemed to be scattered and then packed into dense schools of 25-50 fish from what I saw on the graph so I threw on the smallest cranks I had that still had some diving power....and starting smacking some fish.

It was a fun time and beautiful day to be out on the water. I got some fish and some sun....nothing but smiles on my face on the drive home.

I joke about that a lot actually, especially after my last girlfriend lived blocks away.

I've been schizophrenic for three years now....about to take care of it though...by finishing it.

I've only posted about me being a cat person now for like....ever.

Way to go on cracking that secret part of my persona Sherlock Holmes.

Honestly? The fact that you're just realizing I'm a cat person is Example A in illustrating how big of a narcissist you are and literally only read/care about your own posts. I've only mentioned it like eight million times. That was like fifty percent of the conversation between Gimp and I = how much we loved cats.


I'm also a dog person. Guess what? One's ability to like dogs and/or cats doesn't have to impede on their ability to like the other.
