That a legal boat ramp or nah? We got slammed for making our own...as well as having a structure too close to the lake(lil 4'*4' fish cleaning shack) and an outhouse with no tank. They were nice about the garage slab poured over the top of filled in wetland

That's a state public landing homey....it's pretty shitty and shallow. The DNR cleans off the sediment every spring and actually dug it out and redid it this year. Guys with their brand new 21' glitter boats with 300hp on them were using it until a month, maybe a month and a half into the season.

Digging it out is totally pointless. It'd be like trying to dig a hole in quick sand. I'm actually surprised it took as long as it did before filling in. There was a guy ahead of me when putting in the two days ago when the pic was taken, nice new boat....not even that big 17' or 18' with a 90hp on it....him and his buddy fukced around for at least ten minutes, probably closer to fifteen, before pulling it out and hooking up the safety chain and strapping down the back before hitting the road.

I just smiled before dropping mine in and sliding it right off the trailer floating like a cork. Where the end of the dock is there's only a foot and a half of water.....plenty for me to go full throttle in....not enough to have much for company at the landing most days....last summer I'd bet I was the only rig putting in and out four out five times. The year before I think there was two times I wasn't the only one in the lot all year.

I meant to comment, "Good Up!" on your season. It's been a while since I shot that many ducks in a season. Nicely done. Good to see there's still some guys getting after them.
