Ain't no dog track. Don't let the claws showing fool you. It was soft and slick as snot. The reason for the claws out. This was the only track where it wasn't slipping a bit.

Did you click the link at all? I looked at other cougar paw prints online, they all seem wider, not as narrow as your photo shows. But I certainly am not at all qualified to determine what the track is.
Did you send it to the DNR? If so, what did they say?

Trust me the prints were way wider than what they look. I should of put my hand all the way down on the ground. But I was holding a fishing rod under one arm a tackle box under the other and taking a picture one handed all while trying not to slide down hill.

It's a big track and wide. What did it look like in person? Seen plenty of both mountain lion and wolf tracks hunting. It doesn't look quite like a cat track, but doesn't seem like a k9 track either? The main pad seems odd. Length of stride and spacing on the width of it's shoulders and hips would tell a lot. Any rumors of big cats around on tcams or by local Bigfoot experts? Have seen mountain lions and wolves but never seen Bigfoot, so I'm no expert.
