Appears that this solved all my problems. I beat the snot out of it tonight for 60 miles and all the power and driveability is back. Really happy with the truck now.

Those days are long gone. Both the 1500 and 2500 transmissions are stout.

Well its fixed. The new timing chain actually didn't fix things...but was part of the problem. By monitoring fuel pressure I landed on the possibility it could be the the "lifetime" fuel filter in the tank, or the low pressure fuel pump in the tank. Switched it out, now have 300 miles on since tuning it yesterday afternoon and its good to go!

What data do you have to show it's laughable? I have owned several including my 2015 and have not had a single trans issue. Neither have any of the other 6 dodge owners I know. All tow heavy. Campers tractors hay ect.
