additional contest possibilities

You guys will have to tell me if you think these are worthwhile to host, and if you'd participate - currently thinking of a few more contests to run (possibly perpetually).

For each of these, I could probably scrounge enough change out of my yearly shotgun shell funds to throw 20-$30 gift cards up for prizes

Photo Contest - This could be quarterly, I'd be interest in photo submissions that we could choose a winner each round and rotate through the background banner at the top of the site

Logo design contest - One time deal, but I feel we would have limited submissions so the payout would need to be higher.

Referral contests - I've done these in the past, they usually don't work that well but we have a more loyal member base here so I could be proven wrong. Biggest issue is tracking who referred who.

I think you would have an unfair advantage over subject matter mister. If it's ducks we have here too, sure. Mountains and crap, how can we compete?

Over on MMT( mud motor talk) ever month they have a contest for best new cover photo with a mud motor in the pic.


Something on that lines but with MN shot birds or conservation projects

I would like to see more photos. I can print large prints (up to 24 x 80), so maybe I could donate a print of someone's photo as a prize.
