Why was the max 78. Not really about the call and winning I just want to know the logic since I am sure there is some.

There were only 78 posts on this thread at the time of the draw, generating a number higher than that would have landed on nobody.

Granted, some were the same member posting a few times - but that meant I only counted their first post as an entry and omitted the rest from the increment to the winning post. In this sense, even 78 was too high of a range - but it was a start. I would have just drawn again if it was a null result.
