Not Al. Just a guy from Florida often mistaken for Uncle Si.
16 birds this AM.
Had a flock of 500 work us for 15 minutes within 80 yards. We did get 6 of them.
Birds aren't finishing as well today. Yesterday was mostly 15 yard shots.

Bill, it sounds like you are having fun! Keep up the good work and keep the posts coming. Some of us are jealous!

Maybe more adults mixed in coming back from the north? Sounds like birds are going south out of canada

Ended the day with 25 total.
4 were the tasty Rosses.
A few adults but mostly juvies.
Birds were hard to finish.
Lots of specks.
No shortage of birds.

That's what he tells all the clients.

Well, perhaps the G/O did do it. I remember that often Steve spent a lot of time scouting. Some G/O do, some don't. it seems Bill is happy with the the G/O he is using.

Anyways, DL is supposed to get 1-3" of snow today with a N wind. Very likely that'll stall the push north. Will it force them to head back south? Who knows....

I remember about 8 years ago we had cold weather (20 for lows) with stiff North wind and had a snow storm in SD. We had geese migrating both directions. The geese in CAN were heading back South into ND and the geese in SD were head North into ND. It was a weird day, but that is Snow goose hunting.

Good luck to all that are heading out. :D

Good luck with finding them when they head North.

Guides can suck it.

I have found birds super late the last two years. Tough yes but not impossible.
