Well, it appears to be a weekend to go. I'm heading up to the Aberdeen area Friday night for a weekend hunt and into Monday morning.
Send me a p.m. if you are interested in going.

40 miles south of Jamestown. Got 7 on one sneak. Huntable numbers around but not a whole lot. Lots of birds pushing hard SOUTH.

Highs in the teens over the weekend will do that. They'll turn right around and be in Canada next weekend with 50's and 40's forecast for ND starting Wednesday. Adults will clear out of the US pretty good next week. Probably going to decoy in ND first or second weekend of April. Good luck!

A great attitude and gifts!

Ended up getting 4 more on a sneak that was a lot of work. Did end up seein a few flocks headed north bucking the wind but the majority of birds we saw were headed south. We would find a large group in a field and then not see another bird for 20 miles.

I got a call this morning from Stelzner (aka Big Daddy) from the Redfield area of SoDak. They managed to nail 3 birds this morning. They had a large feed going on in the next field that drew every bird in the sky. His group was going to try it again this afternoon with some decoy spread modifications. I hoped that it worked.
