Minnesota Waterfowl Hunting

I'll try to keep the rest pretty short.
This was Sunday of opening weekend
This is my best hunt to date and one of the most memorable as well. We ended up getting into the field late, and planned on only hunting until 9 due to classes around noon. But that was soon disregarded when flock after flock of geese started dumping into our spread. And this spread was nothing special due to being rushed while setting up.
Following an hour of non stop action we had our 4 man limit of geese on the ground and 4 ducks shy of our limit.

The rest of the season was pretty slow in action with no new bird showing up in force until November. But here are the rest of the few hunts I took pictures of.

Here's my last hunt of the season due to having to bring all my hunting gear back to the cities during thanksgiving break.

Thanks! It was nice to shoot a few plumed out drakes after shooting ugly drakes all early season.

Was a good year for me-about average.
