I've heard a lot of ducks flying over while bow hunting...but shooting a deer is taking precedence right now. Friday I plan on scouting western mn

I've got spots mapped year after year they hold birds late...found them back in my college days when I had nothing better to do. If they aren't there then I just turn around and come home because I know they won't be elsewhere

That's a true northern bird, has them "red legs". Only get those with the tail end. Those big northern birds aren't happy unless the temps are dropping as fast as the barometer. A bucket list bird for sure.
Very nice stack of golden eyes. Hopefully Nershi is getting on them also. I like seeing them, pretty cool as they are such a tail-end bird.
