No I didn't. If you read my post I said 'most'. Struggling with your grammar comprehension again huh Al.

Back to the original topic: The boxes have all been given away to 2 guys willing to put them up correctly to minimize predation. They are going on steel posts mounted over 2'+ of water. :D

Wood duck population is too high and if we can't shoot six they ain't worth doing the work for.
Ask Al how to successfully nest wood ducks, see you next season.

Do we know if they will be mounted correctly?

Naw, didn't say how they'd be mounted.

I was looking for information on how to keep the Mergansers out. Free housing apparently attracts a lot of undesirables.

Hopefully the boxes will be sitting in the garages like so many do after a build...

I have 5 or 6 sitting in the rafters of the garage since 2006. 1 almost made it out this year.

So you don't want wood duck boxes to be put up? Is that becAuse kids are going to install them wrong or was that just a typo?

Not a typo. You can't blame the kids when the adults are uninformed/misinformed dolts.

Like I said previously, there are more than enough natural cavities for Wood ducks in MN. So why even bother putting up squirrel boxes on trees? :?

That's the reasons why I have not participated in Wood Duck box build days for a number of years now.

Besides Trigger thinks that they are all eye soars, so we don't want to piss him off too badly.
