Well, actually, it's Friday September 25. Opener isn't until 1/2 hour before sunrise tomorrow morning. The opener used to not start until noon. A couple years ago they dropped it back to 9am, and then a few years after that to its current start time of a half hour before. Also, remember that you can only hunt til 4pm, this gives the local nesting birds time to roost and prepare themselves for the continued slaughter on sunday.

Because of the rain this past week, I had to work yesterday and today to stay caught up. 2 - 12 hr days. I'll try to get out later this week if the weather is rainy.
