I've never hunted it but can't imagine it'd be too big of a cluster on a weekday afternoon at this point of the season. Even North isn't too big of a cluster on a weekday afternoon at this point in the season...you hit it on a day with a little front, some spitting rain and a decent wind out of the North, like Wednesday is supposed to be, and if nothing else you should get a crack at some Cans moving through this time of year.

I have to agree about afternoon hunts this time of year, especially with deer hunting going on.

But, reports from MB say most all the Cans have migrated already. I'd estimate their peak #s in Mn were 2 weeks ago. I would think Bills and Mallards and GWteal would be the most numerous bird numbers now this time of year in the Central zone.
