The last several birds I had done were by a guy in Shakopee. Craig at Craig's Taxidermy. It's been a few years since I had my last bird done. So I do not know if he is still doing it or not. Here is his # 952-445-6814. or 952-445-5386. I use to go to the guy who was killed by his pet deer (buck gored him). That was many years ago.

Selby in Nicollet is world renowned for big game, contracts his birds out but even his subs do good work. Pat Melhop (four seasons taxidermy) out of New Ulm did one of the nicest redheads I've ever seen. There's one more guy (Jeff Holmen I think the spelling is right) near St. Peter that was an understudy of selby and he does excellent stuff too... Don't think you'll go wrong with any of the 3

I'll second the recommendation for Flyway. If you want world class work, Jerry's your guy. He has done 3 birds for me - Woodie, Bufflehead, and a unique Snow Goose my wife shot. I believe you can mail him your frozen bird, but you really should stop by and see his shop. Many amazing pieces.
