That brings my back to Sodak 2004ish......when Mr. Lee was still pulling a boat around full or Northwinds.... 8-)

I better get my ass in gear. Scattered flocks up near Jamestown with decent numbers from Huron south. Crazy for Feb 24th. I am going to get the trailer loaded this weekend, could be like a few years back where a majority of birds were through by mid march. I went really late last year and only found one huntable group in 2 days of driving, don't want to be that late again. They decoyed nice but could have been a bust if it weren't for that one group

I'm heading out early next week for a hunt or two. May miss the bulk of the early adults, but the juvies should be following shortly. Waaaay to early!

The irony is that here in MN the season does not even open up until March 1

Still a milli in Squaw as of yesterday. Plenty of time to get to ready. I'm going to SD weekend after this one.

Been hard to resist trying to hunt so far since I live in SD but I'm with you, not starting until the weekend after this one. Have to go to omaha this weekend and I'm trying to work in a half day hunt down there over a permanent spread but not looking good.

Nebraska would be great this weekend. I'm thinking Yankton weekend after this one should be pretty good.

I think Yankton THIS weekend will be good.

50s on Sat and 60s for Sun there http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Weathe ... n=USSD0392

Heck they are talking 50s-60 for us Sun through next week, usually they are warmer in SD than here.
