I don't see anything in the forecast in the core ringer area in MN that is going to push them out. Low 30 for lows and mid 60's highs for the next week. I'll be up this weekend so we shall see.

Does anyone have a link to a good snow accumulation map for Saskatchewan? A quick search this morning and I could not locate one. I'm hoping they didn't get too much in the area I am headed in a couple weeks. Looks like most of it was to the west based on forecasts I was watching.

Southern SK Fri morning, remember a lot of it is melting due to unfrozen soil below.

This was as of 7am Fri morning. 8-16" of snow in the North. 4-8" throughout most of the province and 2-4" of snow on the perimeter.

Thanks Fowler. I found those. I was hoping for something with a little better detail of the providence.

The Intellicast (WSI map above) I think is as accurate as you'll find.

My old bookmarks from 6+ years ago are no longer valid. I'm not sure what the hell Environment CA all did, but none of them work. Nor the commercial ones like Weather Underground which used to have a snow map for Canada :(

I did see this:
https://www.theweathernetwork.com/news/ ... es-/72841/

In Saskatchewan, the highest amounts fell along a band from Cypress Hills Park northeast through Saskatoon and on to Island Falls, with a few locations seeing more than 40 cm in total.

"Light snow and flurries continue this morning as the last remnants of the system linger over the province, but significant further accumulations are not expected," says Environment Canada in a storm summary released Friday morning.

The City of Saskatoon picked up 30 cm of snow this week, nearly four times its monthly snowfall average for October.

It's still snowing in Regina this AM

Wazzup Holmes?

Didn't make it out this weekend. Reports seem to be no more birds then last weekend, but different birds.

Once again, the Big Push passed us by.

Dang it I will have to cancel my SD trip in early november. The birds must all be in Missouri and Oklahoma already. Well there is always next year. I guess a guy can maybe get some late migrating goldeneyes possibly.
