Pretty bad. Looks like most wood ducks are gone, saw 2. Had a teal land never saw it coming in. Then somehow wiffed on a lone greehead easy shot, I hate Kent fasteel. Saw maybe ,30 other mallards in small flocks way off in the distance. Not much shooting around

Seen cans, Pintails (some decent sized flocks), specks, big geese, ringers, bills mallards and gwt.

Managed a few but should have some ringers and gwt if my sights weren't bent.

Nice Gimp. We needed to be on bigger water but this trip is young hunters and learning the ropes. BB guns and one shell at a time.

Saw birds, lots of geese, but nothing doing today.

Went fishing. Hammered perch and too small 'eyes. Great time with the 8 year old and it's not even YWD!

Mallards mallards marllards!...And other puddlers today. Most came down from space and bombed into the middle. 50-100 sized flocks. Few divers. Few geese.

This weekend is out, family.

Should be able to hit the swamp for a combo of 5 or 6 morning/evening hunts next week/end.

Forecast looks, balmy.

I probably won't be out again until mid to late Nov. Gotta do deer firearms the next 2 weekends with Dad as much as I dislike the actual hunting part
