MWF Group Hunt(s)?

Thu Oct 06, 2016 12:20 pm

Any interest in getting together a time or two for a group hunt? We could self-guide with our own stuff or just rent a field. Water or field makes no difference.

If we are going to do, we should start planning real soon.

I think your best option would be Rochester. Call Dean get the West Field, Rock Pile or Hewletts/Tills and hope for the best.

Westline Guide Service in Rochester offer some really good weekdays guided hunt rates. That is one option.

Another option may be a water hunt, but that will depend on who has a boat or two.

Will Rochester get hot with the coming cold weather?

If they have not pounded them today down there, something is wrong. as lots of migrating Honkers today

You would think so but I don't think Rochester gets the geese like they used to?

The rivers help hold them yet, but no, not like 5 years ago when they had a warm water discharge.

But they should be thick in Roch right now.

Intellicast is predicting 6-11" of snow for this weekend for them. Then cold as hell next week, like single digit highs T-Th I'm not sure between the snow and cold that could really push them out. :(
