Snows reports for 2017

According to a buddy working in SD, wave upon wave heading north between brookings and canyon. Also received a video of birds going over Worthington this am

Youngest kid heading to Sioux Falls this morning and said waves of snows going over and lot's sitting in fields as well........prolly over already.....ha

It really has been crazy down here today, waves of them going over Marshall......................now if we get all the snow they're talking........it could be over before the season opens.....haha

Still haven't seen any around home but the wife said she has been seeing a ton around Marshall.

Be interesting to see if they stay put or head south...not really supposed to get very warm the next several weeks

But will SD get enough snow to push them back south? I'm not sure where the snow line is in SD.

MN will get some snow. But the area N of Marshal and up by Morris, perhaps minimal snow and they'll stick around???

1st map, snow line Wed AM.

2nd map is thursday at 7AM, and that "tongue" of snow cover on the NE/SD border is the storm coming our way.

3rd map expected snow.

So north of the snow storm in upper 1/2 of SD and west central Mn, perhaps minimal snow, so will the S&Bs stick around?
