I saw a duck this morning. It was brown. It was spectacular.

I'll miss the August season. I always got a kick out of the noobs with their hero shots of flightless goslings. I'll never forget the detailed report I once read from a guy who chased around a family through flooded cattails picking off one at a time at close range.

I've seen this years duck hatch flying for a couple weeks now. No geese yet.

We shot them cupped up over alfalfa in august. Anyone that said nothing could fly by then was/is retarded.

Never meant to say you were saying that but the fb pages for waterfowl hunting in minnesota had some dumb ass retards thinking nothing can fly till September.

Last season, one guy thought they'd be able to mass and get the season LATER, because we're all missing out on those late season mallards he sees flying around. "We're the customer, and if we band together they have to listen to us!"

Gotta love the FB Cowboys. I jumped on a Minnesota Fishing page, too. Duck hunting on Facebook attracts a special kind of stupid, but fishing on Facebook it's clear to see that group sets a line of stupid and dares you to cross.

I'm on a few ice fishing pages, it REALLY irks me when guys are bad mouthing someones asking price on gear. That's why I usually only sell on CL - that way no freaking stupid commentary posts!
