MNFOWL Group Hunt?

Al (H20 Fowler) recently hit upon this issue. Is there any interest in some of us getting together for a group hunt?

A free lance hunt would be the cheapest way to go if someone wants to spearhead it. We would reimburse that person for scouting costs and/or field rental fees. Otherwise, a guided service.

I don't think that location would matter too much.

So.......?

You could always go with Dean and premier flight in Rochester. Hunting is always iffy but it the simplest way to go.

I was hoping for someplace else. Rochester is too "iffy". Dean does run a good program though.

Ya unless someone has a field or hunt camp that they are willing to open up.

I'd go in a heart beat if we could lure Walker and his Asian Sensation side kick to come back to MN.

Roch is sub-optimal hunting, you'll see a ton of geese, shoot a few but you can have a field for 50$ a guy. Not bad.

If there is interest in heading north I could possibly put together a big water diver shoot later this year. We'd need another boat if we have more than 4-5 guys. I typically have pretty consistent hunting from now until freeze up. Possibly even a Mid-November Golden Eye shoot on Superior depending on how freeze up goes.

I probably couldn't make Rochester. Possibly if it were on the weekend after thanksgiving or in December.

I agree I would much prefer a duck hunt even though it may be more work. I have done the Rochester thing several times and it never did it for me. The hunting was poor at best.
