Lessons Learned from This Past Season?

I learned that I need to tell people to meet me at the spot. That way they can sleep in, hit snooze, forget to set alarms or drink all night all they want. Done waiting for no shows or hour late people.

There is nothing I hate more than people showing up hungover, late or not at all from drinking night before.

I agree, I stopped waiting and just sent a text on where I would be exactly if they showed up and told them not to come in if it was during the first hour. Hunted by myself a lot because of that

Did that few times this year. Heck if I'm missing out on a hunt because of it.

Yup same here. Kept the boat far away and used some swamp seats instead. They were also nice for them points that only got a clump or two of cover on the very tip. Helped with them shore shy birds.
