Minnesota Waterfowl Hunting

Anybody use the White Rock blind door decoys? Was thinking about picking some up but heard some bad things about the durability. I'd like to get something on top of the blinds to help conceal them better. If not these looking for ideas that other people have used. Or I may take a couple of the sillosocks and see if I can rig something up that keeps them upright on the blinds. Thanks

Just get extension poles and stick in ground between blinds and in front/behind. Found it easiest to stick into the corn stalks.

For dog blinds, we stick them right in the stubble straps since there are no moving parts of those blinds.

I have used them even before the spring season existed. I have used 2-3 worn out std socks in the blind. I use 2 to 3 spring clothes pin per each decoy to help fasten then to the loops.

I also have 30" SS stakes VS 24" stakes that I have used near the blind to help break up the blinds better.

I zip tie a couple north winds or TNT shells to my boot bag and one blind door.

Been using mine for 2 years now probably 20 hunts. They have held up great, in the 30 mph wind last weekend they were fine. Not sure what could really break on them. They get knocked around petty good being on the doors and always bounce right back.

Using longer stakes on Silo-socks close to the blind does seem to help hide the overall blind. For attaching some to the blind doors, I wonder is a piece of long corn stalk put through the straps with a Silo-sock stuck in it would work.

Thinking about just getting a dozen windsocks and using clamps to just clamp them onto stubble straps. $50 for three blind door decoys seems kind of outrageous.

Course the season is going string and Cabelas put away all their snow goose stuff. God I hate cabelas. See if I can get something shipped by next Wednesday I guess

Ended up just buying some bags from Prairie Wind Decoys to put on the blinds, as well as some 30" stakes for decoys around the blinds. Should help
