Not to be that guy but. . . do spinners work for divers? How many would you use? I know you need thirty dozen for field hunting. I've only have a mojo teal and just never use it but I'd get a bunch more for divers if it would help. Maybe make my on floating set up or use long steaks.... ideas/sarcasm welcomed

Every diver i've ever shot has been with a spinner running. They are dumb.

1 spinner to get noticed, then a bunch of old mallard deeks spray painted white, they come right in.

I've had mixed results. They seem to either love em or hate em. Ringers seem more attracted to them than other divers. I leave mine at home when I hunt divers but I have regretted that decision a couple times.

Field hunting for ducks they are gold and you do not need thirty dozen.

Do they hurt, no. Do they help, meh. Overall I think on bright sunny days spinners help over water. On cloudy day I'm not sure they help at all. I decoyed a couple big groups of redheads (50-75) last fall with no diver decoys and a spinner going.

Oh they hurt. Better have a remote to shut it off if geese are wanting to work.

Spinners are basically a form of flagging and is a form of attention getting to ones decoys. I've used on clamer wind days billiard ball sized rocks to simulate splashing that the divers do. If you ever glass the rafts at a distance you'll see the splashes as they dip beneathe the water to feed. I wonder if the splashing decoys with the splash for 1 second, off for 3 seconds would be a better attention getting tool for a diver hunter?

Fowler - A couple bubblers are money over the water and are key on calm days. I would rather have a couple bubblers than a spinner honestly.
