duck plucker

Sat Dec 10, 2016 9:49 am

i got way too many duck breasts this year. I'd like to try to pluck a few but don't have the time and/or patience after the hunt. anyone have any real world experience with any of the commercial duck pluckers, chicken tubs, etc...? looking for an affordable recommendation that i can put out next to garage and maybe pluck 20-40 birds (puddlers mostly-maybe a few cans)/year. thanks in advance

Just get a small electric motor and mount it on a board. Then use a couple of C clamps to clamp it a table or plywood on saw horses. Mount the aluminum cylinder on the motor and plug in in and have at it. That's what I do if I want plucked ducks.

God, help me be the man that my dog thinks that I am.
