Anyone Buying a Different Waterfowl Gun This Year?

Thu Jul 06, 2017 6:54 am

My itch for a new gun is coming back again. Last year it was for a Fabarm Waterfowler XL5, but I literally could not find one in the state!

This year, Winchester Super X4 looks interesting, plenty of them around. Anyone else getting the itch?

I agree....but variety is the spice of life. If not, your stuck with the missionary position.

Nope, unless things dramatically changed for the better financially for me.
If the choice was a new gun VS $1500 for a good solid used ATV, I'd buy the ATV so I can haul my FH out on 6" of ice, nor worry about driving on ice with my truck being it weighs 6500 lbs it requires 12" of solid clear ice, and we just are not as cold any more in the winter on average to get 2 months of safe ice in S MN.
.
God, help me be the man that my dog thinks that I am.

Nope, only plans I was thinking about doing was get the stoeger condor kreacoted. Might get lazy and cheap and find a Foo Foo can of tan bedliner and hit up the barrel minus the top of the rib and break area. The little gun is turning into my favorite duck gun, do miss having a third round on some flocks but the lack of any thoughts while aiming makes up for it.

Sucks being a lefty. I have two buddies who are selling nice auto's on the cheap but I have no use for a right handed gun.

My gun is finally running right so I haven't had the gun buying itch since before last season.

That would get a "Like" button if we had one....
