Browning Maxus Testomonies?

Tue Jul 18, 2017 8:47 am

Anyone own and use one? They appear to be a well shouldering gun and with the 50/50 sight plain (point of impact 50% above and 50% below sight picture), they may be worth taking a hard look at. With a gas operated system, the felt recoil is supposed to be reduced as well.

I don't believe any of the salesman/media hype. I would like to hear from some actual users...real people!

I still love my SBE-II and will keep it, but I also have want for a different gun for the collection.

Sight plane / POI is adjustable with shims if the gun uses them.

Pattern your gun and make sure it fits you.

Sold all my gas guns over the years. Now shoot a SBEII, M2 or 870.

I've been shooting my Maxus 3.5, 28.5 for 4-5 years and have had zero issues. It shoots light trap loads just as well as 3.5 BB. 10s of Thousands of rounds through it. I prefer it to SBEII
