Cerakote Coatings on Waterfowl Guns?

Tue Aug 08, 2017 4:40 pm

Is it really worth it to have the additional $250.00 or so added to the price of the gun. Or for that matter, to have it done to your existing gun?

Browning seems to think so with their "Wicked Wing" editions. IMO, it may be something to consider for those that hunt quite often in a salty water environment , but not for those hunting in fresh water areas. Or perhaps, if you truly want to customize your camo pattern.

I'm going to order some from midway end of the week for my OU. Spray it, cook it then shoot it.
