What barrel do you have on your 10/22?

I think that one is an older butler creek 20”.

The e.r. Shaw barrels on midway seem like a decent deal.

I'll likely have more questions on the barrel when the times comes.

I’m currently looking at this stock as an upgrade also.

I like that one.

If I can't find a used one, could a guy buy this gun for a good price and then replace what he wants as he goes?

Or, if a guy was to buy these, would he have all the correct internal guts and then just add the stock, barrel and optics?

Sorry some of these are probably dumb questions but i'm a noob when it comes to this stuff.

Either way you go your going to spend a pile of money and possibly have extra parts laying around. I’d seriously go this route. It’s got a nice stock with adjustable cheek weld a good barrel and comes with the bx trigger in it.

The problem with a used 1 is there is no way to know how few or if tens of thousands of rounds were sent down the barrel and thus rifling is poor.

You’ll damage a .22lr barrel more by cleaning it wrong than by shooting it.

If I told you that my cz that shot that .135” group posted above has 1500 rounds down the barrel with out cleaning, would you believe me?

Another option that’s cheaper is to get a savage mk ii and put it in a Boyd’s tacticool stock if you want. They generally shoot really good if you find the ammo that it likes.
