Any Ithaca Owners Out There?

Another blast from the past. Just curious if anyone is using one of the good old Model 37's in the slough. Personally, I haven't seen anyone use one for years. The last time was watching my buddy use his on some pheasants.

I believe that they are still being manufactured and a bit on the spendy side for a pump gun. But then again, a classic is never cheap. IMO, they are the smoothest sliding pump gun out there; just like glass.

My Dad has a 20 gauge he bought in 1950. A neat feature is the bottom eject suitable for either right or left handers. It is very light and knocked me on my ass the first time I shot at a rabbit with it. I was about 12 and my Dad nearly fell over laughing. My Dad can no longer lift his heavy S&W Auto POS, so he now carries the Ithaca. He has been averaging about a shell or two a year for the past few years.
