A Browning gun suck? That is blasphemy !! Do tell the story behind it.

Probably me Chuck but I could hit anything with that thing. Just didn't fit me well at all. I switching to a beretta xtrema loved it so much I have two.

I think the new version Browning A5's are awesome. I have a couple 12's (non blued) and a 16 (blued, had no choice). I hope they put out a 20. Had a brief issue with a choke tube rusting but now I keep the choke tube grease fresh and have had no further issues.

Glad to hear that the Beretta worked out for you. The new Browning A-5 sure does point & swing nice. The Maxus also feels good.
If I decide to buy a different one now, I’ll be looking at the Remington V-3 or Beretta A-400.

Stoeger P-350. 5 trips back to the factory for warranty work. Complete trash gun. Finally sold it to a pawn store after its 5th time back from the factory.

I've only had an 870 and versamax in my 23 years of duck hunting so can't say I've had a terrible gun honestly both have been great.

Ithaca mdl 37 featherlight 3' pump.
Shooting the old lead 3" rounds it was BRUTAL! How brutal? I actually dislocated my shoulder it kicked so hard!

And why fit should be #1 choice on a gun.

You can have a $3500 gun and if it does not fit well, you will not shoot well. Conversely you can have a $500 gun that fits well and you can (shooter ability comes into play) shoot well.

Point is fit should be paramount, then the brand/model/ etc
