Any 28 gauge users out there?

I ‘m looking at a couple of them as a sort of a shooting challenge. Some love them, others not so much. A couple of hunting shows, RNT & MOJO , were using them on Teal & Mallards with apparently good success. Watching your distance is paramount.

Kent & Rio both make a Bismuth load for them & Hevi Shot has some loads as well.

So, tell me about your experiences.

A friend and former co-worker has one of the A400 Beretta's. Very fun gun. He's shot a few early season birds with it and the Kent loads.

never really gave it any thoought until I saw the habitat flats guys promoting them in the last few years. Tight quarters for ducks paired with a good load and they sound like a devastating light weapon. Look around for their youtube stuff. I'd have a tough time going smaller than a 20ga but wouldn't cast stones at anyone throwing a 28 around asssuming they shoot it well.
