For those of us that routinely practice predator control for waterfowl conservation, you may want to try a box of these .22 shells.

The advertised velocity is 970 fps with a 45-grain hard nose tip. From my recent experiences, they are quiet and very accurate. The neighbors didn't hear a thing this morning when a trophy sized Ditch Tiger took a dirt nap. Normally with regular .22 ammo, I'm getting asked "What did you shoot today?" So far, no one hasn't a clue that I even fired my gun.

At $10.00 a box, they are not the cheapest found to be found, but if quiet is what you are looking for, look no further.

I'm a fan of the CCI quiet 22 segmented HP. 710 fps, 40 grain bullet, and they are accurate. We have very few crows, rabbits, or cats in my neighborhood these days. I can shoot into my backyard from my daughters bedroom window while she is sleeping and not wake her up.

Very cool stuff. It shoots as quiet as a pellet gun with more punch and accuracy...none of the neighbors have a clue why stuff keeps dying.

I found my last couple of boxes at various gun shows. I haven't tried any of the big name retailers yet.

Gunbot. I've bought 2000 rounds for 5-8 cents a round this week. CCI mini mags and Remington Golden's.
