Rio is Bringing Back Bismuth Loads

Wed May 07, 2014 7:15 pm

Just read the article in this month's issue of Wildfowl magazine, L.P. Brezny's Ballistics column. Rio is going to market Bismuth loads in 2 3/4" and 3" shells. Found some pricing on it at http://www.cabelas.com/product/RIO-BISM ... 774237.uts

Bismuth is a nice load to use for older guns. It is as close to lead as you can get. I loved using it in my Smith & Wesson Waterfowler. If you get a big tax return or inherit some money, try a box of it. I think that you will like it.

How did I miss this?

Thanks for posting, absolutely love bismuth! Like you stated, great for older guns.

Bought a few boxes of Rio biz last fall to run through my full choke wingmaster. Didn't get to patterning it yet though. Got my 3" 1 5/8 oz loads for $19/box on sale.
