Finally got the lower unit late last week. Might throw a coat of fresh paint on it before mounting. It'll be ready as soon as the river opens a little bit more.
Ask Al how to successfully nest wood ducks, see you next season.

If you don't mind saying, so what did it cost you? Was it a rebuilt or a used?

I bought the unit above for $560. Found half dozen unit in the $400+ dollar range, went with the unit I did because they did all the checks for leaking, put in a new water pump and gave a 1 year warranty.
